Jesus we are having awful luck in this country lately, the man above almost relieved and unburdened us of another waster in government, we nearly had another by-election there for a minute and were one step closer to a general election if we could have narrowed the government majority down by another one useless c*nt...

They've missed a great topical headline opportunity there: Soft Landing Confirmed.

Darragh, there were other people on that chopper. The crew for a start. Would you be willing to sacrifice them for the chance of another by election?

    I'd hope not.

Imagine how much less we'd have to borrow this year if this waster wasn't around to p*ss our hard earned money all over the place.

Ok I take your point on that. Maybe the crew would have survived though, maybe Cullen could have fallen out of the door of the helicopter before the crew were able to regain control and put it down safely somewhere.

Hope it teaches the Minister to take the train/bus in the future.

The big question - what was he doing in "Killarney Race Course" in a government helicopter?

The government use the military helicopters as ministerial taxis - their busy people apparently.

I hate to say it, but this is either a thread on the use of the Air Corps by Ministers - in which case there's a thread on it already - or it's a thread wishing somebody had died - in which case it isn't acceptable as Politics.

To clarify the line: wishing ills on the government or on Fianna Fáil, fine - wishing someone dead because they are a member of one of the aforesaid, not fine.

    terminally,
    Scofflaw
