Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Nope. The game against Fulham was our fifth league draw in a row. Four without scoring.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

WBA are the perfect side for Arsenal as they try to play "nice" football but I still suspect a silly draw unless the starting 11 is much improved, who's back if anyone?

  • Users Awaiting Email Confirmation Posts: 15,001 ✭✭✭✭Pepe LeFrits

Walcott is back in training, doubt he'll even make the bench though.

Gallas out for a few days, Djourou replaces him.

Don't see us getting anything out of the United game at all. Not looking forward to it at all to be honest.

If we can't play well against Bolton then we've no chance on Wednesday.

Decided to take a mild flutter on these games myself. Threw down 100 sheets for a lucky 15 with Sunderland, Pompey, WBA, and West Ham.

16K back if it's a clean sweep. That'd be nice eh? Money back for any 2, and solid profit with 3... 4 would be just greedy.

Can't see WBA providing any resistance to Arsenal, Wengers strikers will have a field day against them.

Difficult to call City-Villa, Villa haven't drawn away all season in the PL so i'll go for this one to break the habit of a life time. Score draw with big Darius getting Man Citys goal/s.

if it was anyone else id have been worried if i was an arsenal fan as they have had plenty of chances thus far but they cant defend at all and the Arsenal goals have been easy, Arsenal to get back some confidence tho as players become fitter/closer to a return which is not something i like, Arshavin looking good too can imagine him and Fabergas & Nasri working well together.

Tell me about it. Got to the game 10 minutes late, got drenched by a lorry outside the ground, watched us waste the best chances of the game, lose 1-0 and then got hailed on walking back to the car. Oh how I love football!!

but he is sent off now for 2nd bookable offence

Both Cole's bookings very harsh, particularly the 2nd one where he got done for dangerous play (high foot) -- he went to control a high ball, back to goal, no defender in his eyeline, his eyes only for the ball. Caught a defender alright, free-kick and a brief talking to possibly merited. Never any more though.

Red card will probably ruin the 2nd half as a spectacle after West Ham in particular had played some really sexy football in the first halfhour, culminating in an orgasmic team goal. Six first-time passes, strolling rings around Wigan midfield/defence, Cole stroked it into the net. Lovely.

Hammers will probably get 10 behind the ball now, but I'd say the game has more goal(s) in it. Wigan already created a couple of chances first half.
