Replacement Flush

    Folks,

    Hoping someone can help...

We've two toilets in our house with circular flush buttons on top of the cistern. One of the buttons has broken, in that the plastic housing that keeps it in place has cracked. I've tried the usual Home DIY places (B&Q, Woodies, Atlantic, Homebase) but nobody seems to stock what I need...

Would anyone know a place that does plumbing supplies of this kind? Close to Dublin City Centre would be best as I could drop in from work, but all suggestions are welcome. I'm reluctant to get a plumber out for something that appears easily replaceable by me!

    Thanks,
    Boysey

You could try contacting the manufacturer directly? They're usually quite helpfull. Failing that you could always try Davies bathroom and plumbing centre.

All the manufacturer's do a push button syphon but most buttons are specific to each one. Have a look at the pan or cistern and look for the stamp, probably Shires or Twyfords and give them a buzz for local stockists.
