Quad Network card for virtual machines

    Anyone any experience of quad network cards for VMs on Windows server 2008 hypervisor

    Looking at this one atm :

    Intel® PRO/1000 GT Quad Port Server Adapter

    We use similar in our Hyper-V cluster.

    We set up a port channell from the switch to the NIC and then use the Intel software to definbe the VLAN's. From there just use the virtual networking to map them accross.

    One tip is to put a prefix on the "physical" NIC's and virtual ones - keeps things neat if you have a good few.
