Heading out the Dunmore Road, you can turn left to go to the carpark for the Cove pub (next to World Wide Wines).

If you continue on down this little road to the Douglas Baxter house (which now leads to some apartments), there was once an old stone bridge that passed over it until the early 1990's. I was a kid at the time and we were told then it was for a Dunmore East Railway that was never built, is that true???

It was then replaced by a wooden footbridge, was this taken down a few years ago by DFL to build the apartments??????
