Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Thinking of buying a Status 315 Aerial for Motorhome, has anyone got one and how do they work in campsites around Ireland

I have a Status 315 but never seem to get a great signal from it, for that reason I choose to bring a spare a Sky dish & box where signal is always guaranteed.

Thanks for the reply I used a sat dish from lidl with my sky box last year but I had problems getting signal so I thought I might try aerial instead

I'm not sure if the Lidl dish is compatible with a Sky box but a Sky dish can be picked up quiet cheaply these days. Lot's of them on Ebay. Sky is my preferred option particularly when travelling abroad.

I use the Lidl dish and receiver here in Ireland with great results.

Has anybody used it on holidays in France??

Hi Kol when you are using lidl dish & receiver in Ireland do you use a sat finder or do you just the beeper on receiver

I picked up the British channels no problem. I would say the reason that you only picked up the foreign channels is because you picked up the wrong satellite. There is a tiny diference in the direction of the dish between astra 2A and 2B (literally a few degrees). That happened to me when i set it up the first time.

I used the basic compass that came in the kit to get the general direction and the beeper to fine tune it. If i cant hear the beeper I just get someone to tell me when the picture appears.
