Giganews down?

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for it. But is anyone else having terrible speeds with giganews tonight? I'm on Eircom Broadband, using the EU giganews server.

Yup.. its an eircom issue and at that.. its only affecting non business customers. I cant get more than 7-20KB on my home connection, but on my business connection I can the full 1.2MB. Outside of eircom its working fine.

Btw.. change ur server to the US one and u will get full speed again.

Also using Eircom and getting slow speeds, using the us server never used the eu server.
