I have a Q9550 as well and I have been using the Asus Rampage Formula and find it a fantasic board, my 9550 is presently running at 3.8ghz and could still go higher but my RAM (must upgrade) is limiting my overclock.

oh yeah this board supports DDR2 not DDR3
