Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hey there! Hopefully someone can shed some light on this for me.

Is it at all possible to get your passport renewed in one day if you go into the passport office yourself?

Thanks a million if anyone knows anything about this!

Posted in another thread a while ago. Yes you can but they'll charge you extra (not sure how much).

Does anyone know what you can do if you're abroad in a country with no Irish embassy and your passport is close to running out?

Do you have to return to Ireland before the expiry date or is there an alternative?

Thanks a million, do you know where i can get more info (prices etc) by any chance? This is the only thing that is holding me back from heading away for the summer and it needs to be sorted asap!

Take a look at all the links on the left, will give you details about fees etc.

Thanks! :) The only problem now is that the available places for visa's are running out and if we wait the 10days for the express passport service, they could well and truly all be gone by then :( You know with the recession, everyone wants to leave the country now!

We don't have any flights etc booked yet but would the passport people see it as urgent considering we need the new passport numbers in order to book a visa? (Usit won't let us register for a visa and then give them the new passport details when we get them in 10days time)
