Polemic: Assuming most UL students are against fees, but also understand the current economic situation - what are you willing to give on? The library extension? Other capital projects? Having larger classes? Fewer lecturers? Courses being axed? Just interested.................

Or how about investing in a refit of the glazing system in the main building? Steel framed single glazing bolted onto concrete...couldn't be wasting more energy if you tried. Shocking in this day and age really. Invest in it and reap the benefits of a hugely reduced energy bill.
