Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,
I want to get a proper flash card. I'm currently using a microdrive 1GB and I think it's causing the batteries to run down really fast. I think the official battery is rated to about 5-600 shots and mine is gone after around 50 and abit of data transfer to the laptop.

I think I want to get a new card anyway as 1GB not a massive amount.

I can get the Lexar in the subject line for about 26 or 27 euro from 7 day shop. http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=777_6&products_id=105119

I imagine I won't be able to utilize the max speed from this card - anyone know how much exactly I can use? I think it's probably an ok idea to get it seeing as I might get a better camera in the future.

Maybe I should just get a card that is just right for the 350D though? I'd be interested in looking at the prices anyway so if someone can let me know what I should be looking at.

    Thanks.

I got three of those Lexars, from the same source, for use with a D3 and found them to be hit and miss speed wise and prone to corruption particularly in continuous mode

I've reverted back to the Sandisk Extreme III & IV's

the increase in speed is so insignificant its not really worth it imo, only for using it in a pc will the speed really be utilised
