I was a civil servant for 3.5 years and left for work in private sector. Can I claim back my pension contributions that I paid while I was a civil servant?

Can I transfer this to my private pension. I was employed after 1995, but before 2004 and have looked online but with no success.

As far as I know it is possible. Just get on to the HR or superannuation department where you used to work and they should be able to sort you out.
