    Friday 6th March

Salford City Reds v Harlequins RL. KO 20:00
Huddersfield Giants v Hull FC. KO 20:00 *Sky*

    Saturday 7th March 09

Wigan Warriors v Bradford Bulls. KO 17:30 *Sky*
Catalans Dragons v Castleford Tigers. KO 18:00
Celtic Crusaders v St. Helens KO 18:00

    Sunday 8th March 09

Hull Kingston Rovers v Wakefield Wildcats KO 15:00
Warrington Wolves v Leeds Rhinos KO 15:00

Lots to look forward to this weekend. Wigan/Bradford on Saturday possibly the tie of the weekend and its on Sky! Wire's game against Leeds also takes on a whole new significance with the arrival of ex-Leeds coach Tony Smith.

KR v Wakefield should also be an excellent clash, two on-form teams playing some lovely rugby. I'm tipping Wakey to shade it by a score...

Heard Shaun McRae got more than a fair bit of stick last night especially at half time, Alker playing out of his skin but again a shocking defensive performance!!!

Disappointing game last night, was expecting a lot more.

I'd say Crusaders are delighted with how Salford are goin, taking a lot of negative attention away from them :P

Yeah and the same last week. To be honest I'm getting a bit sick of the way managers are coming in for soccer-style, personlised stick after a string of defeats. Not a good development for the game

....As you say Salford look good going forward with ball in hand but defensively they're struggling with the step-up in class from Championship level. A season or so should see 'em right..

Looking forward to Wigan/Bradford this eve...should be a cracker....I'm putting my neck out and going for Bradford, but its going to be close...

Nice try for Irelands Pat Richards...Bradford looking a bit Lethargic...

I'd've said Wigan by 12-16 points.

Fair few errors early on. Won't be seeing the game in peace either

Bradford's defence at sixes and sevens...

Have to agree with the villifying of managers, there's a time and a place for it, both of which involve soccer :P

16-0 to Wigan. They're showing some flashes of what they're capable of. Disappointed with Bradford so far.

great stuff from Wigan..Bradford really need to get their act together at the half time break. Ainscough and Tomkins look like good future bets for Wigan...

Beautiful try from the Bulls. finally waking up..Hock! what a prat, should've passed for a guaranteed try, instead goes for glory, squanders an opportunity and hands Wigan a twelve point turnaround...

He made up for that mistake. Could've been very costly but he did damn well to get the ball down there.

Some great play there, Leului (sp) really should've let go as he was being tackled.

0-0 Crusaders and Saints at halftime. Surprising to say the least :P

Can't believe the penalty was given there. He hadn't even finished saying "held". Have to say sometimes I'm puzzled at inconsistencies with refs.

Nice way to get over the line there.

Bulls need a serious shake-up. What's the craic with their injuries, are they mostly long-term?

I'll say...and also the Tigers beating the Catalans, this could be the closest season in years particularly with the new play-off system...How promising does Sam Tomkins look...?

Castleford will be challenging for the top 8. Wigan playing like they are tonight was my reason for tipping them as Dark Horses for the title. Obviously I'd be hoping no team in the play-offs plays like Bradford have done tonight.

Leeds/Wigan next weekend going to be an intense clash on the strength of that performance...

As long as Wigan can keep that up.

Wonder how the match in Wales was. Must be a sickner to only concede 4 points and lose :P

What a bizarre scoreline...sky plussed the superleague show on sky 3 at 12:30. They're going to show the highlights.

Short programme :P I'll just have to wait til tomorrow or Monday for the highlights on the site.

If nothing else I'll wager that no other team this season will concede less points against Saints :P
