Planning a trip to USA this summer

    i'm planning on travelling to usa with a group of friends for approx 6 weeks this july/august. at the moment we're just starting to plan and haven't a clue where we should go, stay, book through etc.

    basically i'm looking for recommendations of the top places to visit and would appreciate if some1 could recommend a good website to book through, we plan on visiting 4/5 states/cities and would prefer to fly rather than drive.

    one last thing any ideas of how much we would need for such a trip?!

    Hey there did the same trip myself last year but went a bit mad and didnt really budget so it cost us a small fortune!! So worth it tho! Las Vegas is a definite must see. It's well worth spending that we bit more and staying at a good casino. we stayed at the Bellaggio and it only cost us 40$ each and its central on the strip. Vegas was the highlight of our trip and none of us are gamblers but its great craic. LA is a dive honestly, is only worth a trip for a day maybe 2...although you should definitely go to the six flags park its pure class. San Diego is gorgeous and really chilled out. Brilliant for water sports. To be honest ya can't really go wrong with the west coast! You will be extremely tempted to stay
