Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yes, great little header from Tevez.

Vidic nearly headed it into his own net

United look very shaky at the back.

F**k sake, Fulham could be 2-1 up here for just turning up.

Rio and Vidic have lost confidence in VDS hence the mix ups :/ They dont trust him so they are doing things that they shouldn't be doing

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,944 ✭✭✭✭ShaneU

    That should have stood

    Perfectly good Rooney goal disallowed.

The Fletcher/O'Shea combo on the right isn't working.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,825 ✭✭✭Mikeyt086

Rooney was onside. Great ball by Anderson. Should have been allowed.

Looks like Rooney's gonna have a good game...man of the match i'd say

Rooney/Tevez partnership is so dangerous. If United play with this pace against Inter at Old Trafford they'll tear them apart.

    Rooney off the post!

    Rooney misses a sitter.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

Rooney thats a sitter, come on. Park is playing fairly well.
Tevez looks the best he's looked in a while, he works better with Rooney than Berbatov I think.

Rooney playing brilliantly, but what an awful miss.

That was obvious from the start. The lazy Bulgarian doesnt work with Tevez at all in my opinion. Rooney Tevez were class last season and should be played together more often instead of doing a Tevez Berbatov.

    Anderson playing some lovely football.

    Good chance for O'Shea

    Anderson playing some lovely football.

He really has that Scholes quality of just saying really incisive balls and making it look easy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,529 ✭✭✭Im_No_Superman

Fantastic attacking play, not so fantastic defensive play. Pretty much sums up Uniteds first half performance. Great to see Tevez play so well, he has been off form for awhile now.

I wouldnt say ando is playing that well,he's giving the ball away a couple of times .he should make his passing simpler .

No matter how well Tevez plays today, and he's playing pretty damn well, he will not start against Inter. I think Fergie will probably guarantee him a starting spot against Liverpool though to reward him though

Eckersley getting ready to come on.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,825 ✭✭✭Mikeyt086

Why do Fulham back off everytime?

Its as if they are scared of the United players, because this does not look like a team with the 3rd best defensive record in the league. Awful stuff.

    Rooney's form continues.

O'shea off with a hamstring injury.

United need him fit for Inter.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Absolutely brilliant stuff from Rooney. He will be massively important against Inter. Maybe Fergie should take him off.

You have to feel bad for Fulham. They could be on the end of a hammering here.

Have to agree with that. None of the United defenders have looked solid at all.

I've noticed that about Fulham under Hodgson, they are a very disciplined team and give away very few fouls. I was at the game at OLd Trafford and they committed one foul in the whole game which seems absolutely ludicrous. It's obviously drilled into them to stay on their feet. It's a tactic that works for them against practically everyone except Utd.
