Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Barca really need to get a win here, no matter how unconvincing. I cannot see Real dropping points to Atleti.

Villareal Espanyol should be a decent game.

Great saturday to look forward. We will have a practice run of the Copa del Rey final on saturday and some good news is that Bilbao are appealing to get the game moved to the Bernabeu citing the Mestalla's capacity is not adequate for themselves and Barca. Dont know if they will be successful or not but fingers crossed as that mean I will be able to go :D.The Madrid Derby is going to Real in my opinion. Cant for the life of me see Real give Atletico as much space and time on the ball as Barca did last week.

Barcelona have been pretty poor over the last month. They really need to turn it around here, especially with the Champions League in a few days.

Bilbao missed a sitter right before Busquets scored.

Franco is looking dodgy in goal for Atletico Madrid. Twice now he has fumbled saves in the past 10mins.

Huntelaar scores for Real, was offside when ball came in though.

Forlan hits the post at other end.

    1-1.

I fear all these missed chances by Atletico are going to come back to haunt them come full-time.

Real vs Atletico is the most rediculous match i have ever seen. I love it!

By my score it should be 7-4 to Atletico. Aguero has been brilliant, but missed 3 sitters. Real have been awful but could be winning. I dont know whats going on, my head hurts.

He was ever so foolish to stop playing but in fairness. Deep inside the Real box in stoppage time and he just gave up looking for a peno. Why ? Even if he thought he heard a whistle which I dont think he did then he should have tried to keep playing on as the game was just over. His finishing was woeful tonight especially the one on one with Casillas in the first half were he just blasted it straight at the keeper. He should have had a hat-trick tonight. He is top drawer no doubt but his finishing tonight was off in a game were you wished it hadnt of been.

On the Barca game though, good result in that we were defensively solid, and won a game convincingly while keeping a clean sheet. Bad result in the way we created more chances from open play in this 90 minutes than Bilbao would in 2 fcuking seasons and scored none of them.

    Also Valdes looked good.

Aguero late chance wasn't far off where he was last week in the last minute. One he fires in, the other he looks for the penalty..hmmph :)

Espanyol are well cut adrift at this stage. Looks very difficult for them to stay up at this stage. That said, it is si tight down there, and so many teams are taking points off each other, its impossible to say.

What about Malaga though? 3 points off 4th. I think the top 4 will finish that way, but would love to see Malaga snatch it.
