50th Birthday present ideas for dad

im hoping someone can help me, in a real dilemma. have no clue what to get my step dad for his 50th next week. would really like to mark this milestone. he wouldnt like a fuss and is terribly hard to buy for. hes really interested in boats. please help!

What sort of boating is he into ? Cruising/Fishing etc ?

If you have a friend who's a bit more knowlegable about what gadgetry he has/wants you can pick up a piece pf boat related kit for him (Sonar detectors etc). Sorry if thats a bit vague but i'm not too nautical myself.
