How many characters in a vodafone message

I recently joined vodafone, when I am sending a text message it seems to go to sending two messages on reasonably short message, Is there a limit on the amount of characters you can put in a vodafone txt message, I was with 02 and it never went to two messages

You have more to say on Vodafone:D All Irish Networks, Vodafone or 02 have the same number of characters 160 in one text message, its probably the same worldwide but lets not go that far;) If you are putting in letters with fadas áéíóú or the Umlaut in German they take up more characters of a message if you use any of them?
