I just wondering what would be your absolute favourite top 15 classic rock (not metal) albums from the 70s and the 80s? Try and keep it to one band\artist each. Mine would be:

    The Cult - Sonic Temple
    David Bowie - Ziggy Stardust
    Thin Lizzy - Black Rose
AC/DC - Let There Be Rock
    Deep Purple - In Rock
    Living Colour - Vivid
    Bryan Adams - Reckless
    Pink Floyd - Animals
    Rush - Signals
    U2 - Boy
Black Sabbath - Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
    Ozzy - Blizzard of Ozz
    Def Leppard - Hysteria
    Van Halen - Van Halen
Aerosmith - Toys in The Attic

    What are yours?

    Tough one!

    In no particular order:

    Rainbow - Rising
    Horslips - The Táin
Black Sabbath - Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
    AC/DC - Powerage
Thin Lizzy - Live and Dangerous
Judas Priest - Sad Wings Of Destiny
    Deep Purple - Machine head
Gary Moore - Victims of The Future
    Ozzy - Blizzard Of Ozz
    Rory Gallagher - Irish Tour
Aerosmith - Toys in the Attic
    Kiss - Alive
    Riot - Rock City
    Van Halen - Van Halen

Looking at that list there's a lot of almost 'stereotypical' albums in there.
