What do you think, here's a couple of options, please add to it. And next week there will be a live webcast of me, in my back garden, eating an entire packet of the most popular one with a huge pot of tea.

    - Fruit shorties
    - Good 'oul digestive (two at a time actually)
    - Cadbury's Chocolate Digestive (something about that chocolate)
    - HobNobs
    - Fig Rolls (yes, I have done it before)
    - those coffee ones

Oh yeah, and do people eat biscuits with coffee or is that weird. How many biscuits do you eat at a time, can you stop after you have begun. So much for discussion.

Not technically a biscuit but a twirl straw is quality. If it has to be strictly a biscuit we're talking about then the Chocolate Polo has always served me well.

TimTams. An import from Australia I believe. They are a little like a penguins but less dense and thats important for there is a ritual to eating them.
    1: Unwrap the biscuit
    2: Bite off a corner
3: Bite off the furtherest corner from the first leaving the maximum amount of biscuit between the two nibbled corners
4: Dip one nibbled corner into a cup of hot tea.
5: Suck the tea THROUGH the biscuit like a straw.
6: Eat biscuit...quickly before it disintergrates

Custard Creams are the KING of el cheapo biscuits, the nicest, most great human invention ever.

Someone said Rich Tea with butter, real butter is best, just scoop it straight out of the dish. Gulp. Happy stomach.

Oh god, how could I have forgotten Toffee Pops?

you have to bite all round the edge to the point where the caramel begins, then take a bite leave it in your mouth, take a sup of tea and let it go all gooey and yummy. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 566 ✭✭✭gobo99

    1. maryland cookies
    2. caramel digestive
    3. chocolate polo

and an hounourable mention to the humble tea time wafer.

Edit: i forgot Toffee Pops, feck it, its too hard to choose.

What the hell's wrong with eating biscuits with coffee?

If anything, the bitterness of coffee complements the sweetness of biscuits better than tea.
