    Hi there,

Can anyone advise me? I am looking at a possible premises to rent and run as a deli. It is currently being operated as a non -food retail outlet. However it was previously a restaurant and deli, about 5 years ago..

Would I need to apply for change of use or would the original permissons still be valid? I cant seem to get a straight answer out of my local planning office and I would rather not declare my interest to the owner until I know what I am dealing with. The location is perfect and the rent price is right but I cant really take the risk of renting somewhere and being refused planning permission for change of use.

Any opinions? Many thanks in advance!

pm'ed you there.......if it was previously a deli and they still have all the facilities to properly run a deli then you may not need a change of use. It really depends on the premises being up tp scratch to store and prepare foods.

    Hi Meadow
No1. Better find out what planning is on the premises. Sent somebody else in to inquiry....it's very easy. Should you require any other assistance with your project feel free to PM me. Cheers Oliver
