Anyone know how to get a hotel upgrade.... I often hear of people saying "We got upgraded to a suite, penthouse ect" Are there any tricks of the trade?

the 20 dollar trick is the way to go, I used it myself on my recent trip to the states

But how about Irlande?

Do they take the €20 trick... My fear would be they'd
a) Kick me out
b) Keep it and NO upgrade
c) call the PO-lease and I get arrested :eek:
