Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

These threads are filling up SO fast now!!!

About time for a new one.

    Have fun.

    * All images must be 800 pixels or less on the longest side.

Any posts with images which break this rule will be deleted.

    * Please don't include the original picture in your reply to a post.
    * Making your picture a link to the page it's hosted on flickr or pix.ie or elsewhere is both handy for us nosy lot to find the rest of your stuff, and also generally considered the polite thing to do by the image host.
    * No arguments.
    * If you've a disagreement with a photo, use the report post feature, don't go abusing the poster.

If you find yourself on the wrong side of these rules, prepare yourself for your post to be deleted, or if you've been feicing around repeatly, prepare yourself for break from the forum.

Only when interesting or says something to me. 2 magpies being for joy etc.
I've taken photos of far more gruesome things than a road kill.
My 5y.o daughter took some snaps of these two birds as well (she even rolled one over with her foot to examine the insides more, I've yet to get her roll developed). They were on the road up to Tara about a week ago.

it doesnt really look like rocket science :pac:

photoshop: Draw a box, cut out the bit you dont want. right click on the layer, blending options, stroke. looks like about 2/3 pixel stroke.

Might even be a touch of innerglow also

Off topic : Phew, back after 'loosin' a few quid to PaddyPower, AGAIN !
Back on topic: yeah, borders, I just started using it at the weekend !, I use canvas size: then increase +0.2cm (color:black, white, etc), then canvas size again, increase +3.0 (color:black, white, etc), then text.

Cosmo K: Imo, that's crying out for HDR + B&W in postprocessing...

  • Registered Users Posts: 985 ✭✭✭Cosmo K

    Challengemaster:

.......well, you know.......actually......it already is a....HDR....

I really wanted to try out my new Tokina 12-24 today, but the weather wasn't great. But I still liked the atmosphere this afternoon, the light wasn't great, the first shots I took looked really dull. So I decided to go for HDR processing. Not totally happy with the result to be honest, but I somehow like it.....

Still learning about HDR and Photomatix.
