Went out on a little drive last night into the Dublin/Wicklow mountains...
Kicking myself for not bringing along my tripod!!
It was really cold and impossible for me to keep a steady hand. Had to rest my camera on a little rock to get a decent long exposure shot and this is the best i could manage...


and for the sake of it...


Gotta go there again someday and make sure i bring my tripod along the next time!

Original idea seen over here a long while back. My young daughter reminded me with her own efforts recently so Sunday last an opportunity presented itself and I loved the way the light caught the water. Probably a bit too much shadow included at the bottom.

My son's Primary School held an open day recently, where they showcased the art and craft work they'd being doing over the course of the last few months, focusing on structures. Pretty impressive for a two teacher country school, I think.

The odd one gets blown off course from time to time etc and they make stop offs in Ireland. Then sometimes the same bird will make a regular visit each year to the same place!
