I just came upon a car crash up outside Waterford Golf Club, road is closed off and emergency services are all in attendance.

One confirmed dead by member of one of the crew in attendance. Looked to be a single car involved.

    May he or she RIP

i dread hearing about these things, espcially when they're local. this might sound bad but i'm always worried its someone i might know.
i feel sorry for the family and friends of the person involved, hope they'll be ok.

Wlr have comfirmed that it was a male who was killed when his car hit a tree close to the entrance to the Golf club. The Rockshire road is closed from the entrance to the hollybrock estate up to the roundabout at the top of Newrath. The road is expected to remain closed until 2pm this afternoon.

It's very sad. You get in your car, and you know where you're going and what you plan to do when you get there. Sadly, some never get there...

You just never know, do you.

    R.I.P.
