Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone think away goals should be scrapped after 180 mins? Arsenal have 30 mins more to score an away goal than Roma did in the first leg. Not dissin the gunners, I hope they get through. Just a thought.

They have that rule in the Carling Cup don't they? That's how Spurs beat Burnley.

le snore at this game, penalties should be entertaining i guess

Yeah, I always thought that should be the rule.

Bapista is rubbish. So what's Almunia like at peno's?

No its kinda the opposite, thats a barmy rule in the Carling Cup, totally unfair on Burnley this year.....what I mean is scrap the away goals once you finish full time (ie 2 games 180 mins) whereas in the CC the away goals only come in AFTER extra time of the 2 legs (ie 210 mins)

In other words if both Roma and Arsenal score now in ET it would go to penalties. Dont know if Im making any sense!! :o

Arsenal are lucky Baptista is "playing" for them! ;)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,407 ✭✭✭Quint

If Arsenal lose, the one positive they can take is at least Baptista doesn't play for them any more

Roma (excepting Baptiste) have played with a lot of pride, and their fans have been amazing. Rooting for them now tbh.

Arsenal were robbed ? They were doing a sub and the ref blew. Is he allowed on ? Number 10 was coming on I think.

Just watching the Barca highlights now, Messi's goal was awesome. Henry bags a brace and Eto'o gets one and credit for the assist for Messi's goal. And Keita grabs their fifth. Fanstastic team to watch, their highlights were awesome, I'd love to have seen the whoe game.

All right... all right... but apart from better sanitation and medicine and education and irrigation and public health and roads and a freshwater system and baths and public order... what have the Romans done for us?

And somehow you fail to mention the man who ran the show in the middle of the park and bagged two assists.

    No wonder he's underrated.
