Am a bit confused. What is the diffference between a soap bar and a standard block? Is it just the dimensions?

    Thanks

a block is 4 inch wide or 6 in wide by 8 inches high

a soap bar is same width but half the height.

They save a blocklayer having to split a block down the middle which is a bit of a pain in the arse and in most cases you would use a clip of these (88) in a house - that would be alot of block splitting, and with fresh blocks it can be tricky to do.

They do however cost twice the price - even though they are half the size!!
