Wedding photographers - reference shots for couples

So I have my first solo wedding in June and for some bizarre reason the bride wants me above anyone else even though she knows I have no experience shooting these things, so I've suggested her having a look at a few different styles I can attempt to emulate. She wants different - I think I've mentioned before they're a punk couple (ahem ). So she's not interested in your average show-the-garter-white-vignette style stuff. She wants an edge. Can anyone suggest some photographers they might have seen that I/she can have a look at? She wants some group shots, but mostly candids..

Any help is, as always, much appreciated...

Sinead, just shoot the Wedding the way you feel it should be shot. This is why she choose you in the first place, its all well and good looking at the other photog's but some of these guys/girls completely take over a wedding and run it their way. If she wants more candid's then give them a hard edge with high contrast black and white.

Er' Good luck with the event. You've got a class eye and she's chosen you for that talent. Yea you might be sh1t'in bricks before the event, but you know you can pull it off. :cool:

Bill Doyle photographed a wedding I attended years ago and had the bride pose with an old bicycle. Thinking about props might help?
