Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How can I tell if my mouse is dead?!

    Windows XP Pro

I have a USB powered Fujitsu Siemens Laser mouse.

The wheel is still working, but the pointer no longer moves.

I've tried a few USB sockets, but to no avail.

Is it possible that Windows is no longer "seeing" it? If so, how can I reset it?

    Many thanks.

    D.

No harm in trying to reinstall the mouse:

Goto Settings - Control Panel - System - Device Manager.

Find the driver for your mouse and uninstall (plug it out before install)

Then restart and plug it back in, should reinstall the drivers automatically

    OK, it's dead.

    Just replaced it.

    Thanks.
