Second goal WAS with a helping hand from Evra. It was a penalty, no disputing that, but it was a silly tackle to make in the first place.

Berba should probably come on to provide better hold up options but realistically Fergie is never gonna take off Rooney and i dont wanna see Tevez withdrawn so thats that

Carrick hasnt been at the races (again) and i would bring on Fletcher to help defensively and tell Anderson he has to help support the attack more in the build up play

Switch Park and Ronaldo, let Ronaldo run at Carra since he is on a yellow and is uncomfortable playing rb in the first place

I wouldnt bring off Vidic for Evans, this could damage Vidic mentally for future games and though this game is very important to me, we can afford to lose this and still win everything, i dont think we can afford to lose Vidic to a confidence dip

Fergie will be giving them the kick up the arse and i hope it will make a difference cause i cant see us getting anything out of this game if the next 45 minutes is like the first

I remember the match thread last season, someone writing off torres saying ferdinand had him in his pocket. Really grated me and stuck in my head, the arrogance. Out of the pocket today :-)

Torres forced the mistake and still had to keep his cool to put it past VDS. Hardly a gift.

Reina tackled Park, he didn't get the ball, he fouled Park. Penalty.

Liverpool fans who are trying to claim otherwise or that it was won in some underhanded way are having a laugh. Park is not that type of player.

Both penalties were gifts from two mistakes, but both were definite penalties.

This is pure nerve wrecking though, definitely one or two more goals in it.

Lucas actually playing ok. He gets a lot of stick but is superior to a few united midfielders today

Park has always been at his best playing in a central position but Fergie doesnt use him there, he can play on the right just as well as the left.....

That's my whole point. All the goals had mistakes involved, yet Liverpool are singled out by the Sky Sports commentary team.

Indeed, but the match is young, with shocking defending all around. There's going to be a penalty not given for one of the sides before the end of this game.

I didnt say it wasnt a peno. The point I was makign is he stopped and let Reina hit him. If it was in the middle if the goal on the ball was just beyond Reina he could have jumped him and tapped it in. Thats all I'm saying.

It was a nailed on penalty mate, ya can argue it all you want, he went into him and the ball was nowhere to be seen. It was not as if he was stationary either, Reina was on the slide.
