Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    AGHHH.

I can't take this. Good play from United there nearly resulting in Tevez bundling in a Rooney pass across the goalmouth.

This is getting too close for comfort.

If anyone is going to get us back in it it's Rooney.

Well lads, unless the flow of this game changes - Liverpool will be very sad at the end. Won't last like this for 30 mins I'm afraid.

    Not a chance.

liverpool are playing a dicey game, the ball has rarely been in the utd half this half.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,908 ✭✭✭Daysha

Berba and Scholes for Park and Ando now!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

Giggs for Carrick I'd say. Berbatov for Tevez.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,009 ✭✭✭colly10

Were really trying to sit on a lead against united for an entire half, just stupid, should try keep the ball, pissing away possession just makes life difficult

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,010 ✭✭✭besty

Scholes, Berbagod and Giggs warming up.

    Hard to know the changes.

    Carrick/Anderson for Giggs/Scholes

Park or O'Shea for Berbatov perhaps.

united lookin sharp but no end product!

By the way, I must say that I think Hyypia has been the best defender on the pitch today. He really has dominated the Liverpool defence, reading the play excellently, and never getting caught in a 1v1.

Does 1 attack count as pressing?:)

    Rafa going for it now.

I like this change. Rieira was awful - and Dossena is a decent athlete.

  • Subscribers Posts: 16,595 ✭✭✭✭copacetic

Thats it Rafa, send Dossena on, that'll worry them

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,435 ✭✭✭✭redout

Dossena - Riera. Benitez you negative bastard !

    2 LBs is greedy.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,148 ✭✭✭✭Raskolnikov

Surely there's the inevitable late United goal in this.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 25,953 ✭✭✭✭kryogen

if Carrick is still on the pitch with 15 minutes to go it will be a disaster

    To win it you mean?

Happy with that substitution, Dossena will defend but he can hang a decent ball up in the box too.

He's been a man mountain, no doubt.

Reina is without a doubt going to get booked for timewasting before the end of this match.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,411 ✭✭✭shotamoose

Stating the obvious, but Liverpool really need to stop giving the ball away so cheaply.

Oh great, here's Dossena. There's a confidence boost.

Rooney having a god awful game

if tevez gets subbed it'll be a disgrace tbh

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,407 ✭✭✭✭LuckyLloyd

Good chance for Tevez there, got away with the offside.

3 subs - fergie is desperate here.

  • Subscribers Posts: 16,595 ✭✭✭✭copacetic

nice group of subs for utd to be sending on. Torres has gone very quiet, appears to be feeling his ankle, worth sending on babel on ngog for him at this stage.

Steven Gerrard's goal is only the second time this season an Englishman has scored against United, the first being a Wes Brown (Mr OG) own goal! In the league, that is absolutely true.

    i absolutely believe you

Inviting them to come at us for 45mins is not a good idea.
