I have a server which has b'band but also has a modem which it has to use soemtimes to dial up (takes too long to explain).
The other pcs in the network (5) have access to a mapped drive on the server.
Whenever the dial-up connection is dialled on the server, one pc loses it's connection to the mapped drive.
Once the server disconnects from the dial-up connection this particular pc has the mapped drive back again.
The other pc's in the network are not connected in any way by the dial-up connection on the server. All PC's are on Windows XP.
Any help would be great, thanks.

Solved: another pc in question had this problem and it was fixed by being given a static ip address.
Someone had given this one had a static ip address too but it did not solve it.
I changed the ip address to a different one and it was OK then. Dunno why it didn't give an error message if it had an ip address which was already used.
