I have not seen the musical but as the movie is out at this year's end do fans of this musical think DDL can pull it off and is a good choice? I know Javier Bardem was first choice for this role

Day Lewis has yet to fail at portraying any other character to date so I have a lot of confidence in him pulling this off. I have yet to see the musical but a friend spoke quite highly of it.
