I recently had the misfortune to deal in the famous "Crown casino" Sunny coast Aus. Was poor, they had 6 tables, only 4 of which were frequently used, there was a high rollers den, but that was reserved for asian roulette players, the tables were long since cleared away. But anyway to get back to the issue at hand, trying to get the stale taste from my mouth leads me to enquire about how to get dealer work here, maybe Letterkenny ?

    Is this question frivolous?

Money was ok, but you need to do 2 courses, RSA, and RSG, although you wont be serving alcohol as a dealer you still need the Cert. You cant accept tips, which is a bummer, specially when you deal a big pot.

If you are in Sydney, dont bother applying to Star City, its Aus Residents only. Might find it hard to get work atm over there, seems everyone is trying their luck in the land down under.

Was learning to work the craps table as well, but most places will just have you learn 1 game well, and stick to that.

Another quick question, do you need to get dealer certified here as well, only in Aus you need a cert for everything. There was a 2 week course in learning how to be that guy that stands at road works and rotates the sign, so weird.
