Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

From reading others interrailing threads.... Iv picked up on something i wasnt too aware of... So... You buy your interrail ticket yeah? and then ya hop off to what ever country your starting at...

Now heres the part im not getting... How EXACTLY does this ticket work... Like do you casually go to the train stations, go to the window, flash your ticket and get on? Or are there other charges you have to pay?

My illusion was that you buy your ticket at home before you go and HEY PRESTO... hop on a train charge free as many times as you like within your time limit ticked [ie. 5-10 days 10-22days etc]
What this im hearing of 6.50 her and 6.50 there??

Yes im aware im not up to date on this so plleaassseee advise...

Most trains you travel on, like the normal speed average trains you just hop on find a seat and when the ticket dude comes around show him your ticket and everyone is happy.

The thing they are talking about on the site is when you need to travel on high speed trains or if you want to make sure you actually get a seat on the train. For example we were going from Barcelona to Madrid, the ticket usually costs €130 because it is a high speed train we got it for €10. I think all in all we prob spent a bout 20-30 each reserving seats for the whole trip. But most of the trains you are on you dont need to pay, there is just the few odd ones that you need to reserve a seat on.
