Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Today was the last day of Barcelona test, also the last test for several of the F1 teams (some like McLaren and Brawn will test again in Jerez next week). The fog delayed the action this morning. Nico Rosberg has become the second driver this week to set the time below 1m20s (at the moment 1:19.774). Brawn GP continued showing their impressive pace, BGP001 was today in hands of Rubens Barrichello, who as the only one broke the 1m19s barrier with the time 1:18.926.

Here are the times at the end of the day, March 12, 2009:

    1. Rubens Barrichello - Brawn GP - 1:18.926 - 103 laps
    2. Nico Rosberg - Williams - 1:19.774 - +0.848 - 117 laps
    3. Timo Glock - Toyota - 1:20.091 - 1.165 - 118 laps
    4. Sebastian Vettel - Red Bull - 1:20.576 +1.650 - 75 laps
    5. Fernando Alonso - Renault - 1:20.664 +1.738 - 56 laps
    6. Felipe Massa - Ferrari - 1:20.677 +1.751 - 84 laps
    7. Robert Kubica - BMW-Sauber - 1:20.740 +1.814 - 128 laps
    8. Lewis Hamilton - McLaren - 1:20.869 +1.943 - 69 laps
    9. Sebastian Buemi - Toro Rosso - 1:21.013 +2.087 - 62 laps
    10. Giancarlo Fisichella - Force India - 1:21.045 +2.119 - 107 laps
    11. Sebastian Bourdais - Toro Rosso - 1:21.629 +2.703 - 13 laps

Fernando Alonso’s engine went up in smoke earlier causing red flag.

Here are the times from the morning session:

    1. Nico Rosberg - Williams - 1:19.774 - 34 laps
