Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

In Italian, but the important part is that Juve are playing the home leg in Modena, not Turin. Might be important for any Rovers fans booking flights. Modena is near Bologna and I'd imagine it's going to be seriously, seriously hot in early August and probably quite deserted too, as Italians tend to f*ck off to the sea for the month of August.

Members and Season Ticket holders will get priority before they go on general sale.

RTÉ don't have Europa League rights, do they?
TV3, 3e or Setanta would be best bet, I'd say.

Just heard that it#s €400 return for the Juve game, which is in Modena (nearest airport is Bologna).

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,910 ✭✭✭thusspakeblixa

Sky Italia will be showing the game. TV3/3E are interested. And yeah, flights to Modena are going to be VERY expensive.

My tip to Rovers heads is to get a flight to Milan and then get a train. It works out cheaper IIRC.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 10,838 ✭✭✭✭3hn2givr7mx1sc

On the Ultras forum there seems to be some cheap ones workiing out in an unconventional way, one is €205:
Ryanair one way Dublin to Bologna on Wednesday 85 quid
Ryanair one way back from Pisa to Dublin on Saturday 120 quid

Fair play to all the other LOI fans popping in here with kind words. We'll need every single one of ya supporting us for this fixture.

Great result for Rovers & the league, congrats.

Does anyone know what stage Juve are at in their pre-season? I'm not for a minute suggesting Rovers are gonna progress here.. but a small heaving ground and a 'cold' Juve could at least give them some problems.

    EDIT:
    Summer 2010

Training camp in Varese from the 21st to the 28th of July

yep, sickened about the Bohs result, but fair play to Rovers. Clearly cant see ya winning, but it would be amazing to keep the tie alive going to Italy.

The non-World Cup players have a few weeks of pre season behind them. They should be fine. The World Cup players are just back a couple of days ago.
