Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Won't be around sorry but move quick. East stand sold out and about a 1000 left in the main stand, I would say they'll go tomorrow.

Or we made demands and deemed enough to be done in favour of the demands that we changed our stance?

Or of course we could go with something completely illogical and say the board forgot or brain washing machines planted in Dalyer.

Probably a stupid question, But with the money from the europa league do ye think Shamrock will dominate Ireland for the foreseeable future, since they can basically just sign the best of the players now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,406 ✭✭✭✭LuckyLloyd

To be honest, if they do they deserve it! They showed The Big Heart and won the big game, so they've earned whatever comes their way on the pitch. At the same time, off the pitch they've managed to get themselves a stadium that sees 3k+ regularly over the course of the season and have been living to their means as well as any Irish club at the top of the table over the past decade.

If this means they win it all from here on in so be it. That's life.

Hiya folks, would I have any issue getting a ticket at the door for the game tonight? Prices for adults for an FAI Cup game? Cheers.

    Terrible draw for us. :(

No problem getting a ticket just before kickoff, an adult ticket is €15

Wouldn't have a problem at all. At the side of the club shop, white ticket office will have plenty available right up to kick off.

UCD have proven stubborn opponents for large portions of the 3 games so far until the first goal, a slightly weaker Rovers have had trouble against worse sides (on paper) as well. Nothing for granted....

Your favourite here? (bar the Partizan goals obviously) Twigg against Pats and Twigg against Galway are my two..

Sit in the away end and wave at us, I dare you. :pac:

Echoing -dfx, I wouldn't be too too sure about tonight. The recent scores have flattered Rovers if you count large preceding periods of the game but not flattered us once we opened the scoring if that makes sense.

A few players will be rested too I assume.

A few reports tonight that Enda Stevens has signed for Villa, any informed Rovers fans heard anything about it?

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 15,694 Mod ✭✭✭✭dfx-

Fair result on the night, it's becoming clear that MON needs to put the first team out to kill the game and then rest with Drogheda, Galway and tonight...

The striker who got the first for UCD frightened the life out of Sives several times, well taken goal too.

Very surprising! He hasn't been that effective for most of the season, has struggled with the step up.

Great result! Probably could have nicked it at the end too. :)

Hopefully the replay won't be a repeat of your last visit...

We've made it lads! Just listening to James Richardson's Football Weekly pod cast and Shamrock Rovers get a mention. We have truly arrived...

How has Samir been doing this year? Meant to go down and watch a game, he's one of my brother's best mates. Reading the match report he seems to have been instrumental in the second goal.

Tries his guts out, but has been struggling with the pace and physicality of the Premier. Like a lot of the team, finding his feet as the season progresses.
