They mean taking care of paths and treating slippery areas.
    They're not meteorologists.

    I know they're not meteorologists :p
I have yet to see anywhere that's been treated or cleared, that's my point, they're not actually doing anything!!

Sorry, I've no sense of humour sometimes!

Well there is loads of snow, they could be understaffed or hiding in the cabins clutching thermos flasks.

According to Maynooth SU on facebook, college is completely closed tomorrow:
There will be no lectures, tutorials or labs tomorrow. NUIM is effectively closed. Most offices will be open, pending review tomorrow morning.

Edit: Got an email confirming it-
    Dear Student,

Although conditions in Maynooth and on the University Campus have not worsened over the course of the day, deteriorating conditions in the Dublin area has affected evening bus transport to and from the campus.

*With more snow forecast overnight, particularly in Dublin and East Leinster, the risk for tomorrow is that public transport will continue to be disrupted and the University has decided that classes, tutorials and practicals scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday 2nd December, will not take place.*

The University offices and library will be open tomorrow unless local conditions deteriorate.

The University will review the situation tomorrow and make a further announcement about Friday classes.

Please monitor the University Web Site tomorrow for further updates.

    Yours sincerely

    David Redmond
    Registrar

There was a pathway cleared outside the Iontas building to John Hume. JH to the Arts block was slushy so it was treated. There's the two I saw today anyways.

They're running, but they've admitted themselves that the timetable has gone out the window. Now it's less about getting you from A to B on time and just getting you home safe.

I find the tea up here doesn't taste as nice as it does at home because of the skanky water in Maynooth. like I'd drink at least five cups a day when I'm in Sligo, but I've had about two all year up here. It's strange.

Hey, just wondering if anybody has a timetable for the year? Not the exam timetable, but the one for the holidays and breaks and stuff?
