I can't wait to be back! Unfortunately, I'm being kept off tomorrow to babysit, and Tuesday to wait for the UPC guy, so I won't be back 'til Wednesday :(

Anyone know where the English seminar room is please?

The English Seminar Room is in the Iontas Building. After heading through the front doors, take a left and walk past the stairs on the left side. When you stop walking past offices, you'll see a door in an enclave to your left. There's usually a sign pointing the way. Pass through two sets of doors, and the first room on your right is the English Seminar Room. :)

More Iontas-Building-related directions required, where abouts is the English department office, is it one of the ones to the left of the stairs after you turn left?

Yep that's where it is. I'm thinking it's room number 21? But that could be wrong.

The admin office? As in Amanda Bent's? That's to the right of the stairs, I thought! Near the end. The media lecturers' offices are on the left of the stairs.

You're right actually! It's on the right near the end of the corridor. Silly me mixing up my rights and lefts :P

Another couple of n00by first year questions!

So, with this upcoming Clubs & Socs fair...do we have to sign up again to the societies we've already joined, or is this just another opportunity to sign on more people?

Also, where is Hall H in the Arts building? I was trying to follow the signs, and can direct, with great clarity, where Halls A through G are, but I just couldn't find Hall H was. I've a workshop in it tomorrow, and I thought, quite wisely it seems, to make sure I knew where I had to be! :pac:

If you're coming into the Arts Block from the John Hume side, pass the reading room, pass Bewleys, then there's the ladies toilets on the left, and just after those, on the left too, before the chaplains' office and the automatic doors, Hall H is tucked in there!

Ooooooh, secrecy! Thanks for the help! :D

Speaking of Hall H, in the Arts Block today someone asked directions to Hall H, and the two-dozen people following behind her promptly went that way. 24 people and not one of them could find it :D

This is just a chance to sign up for ones you might have missed, or weren't there for the first Fair's day.

    I recommend tea!

Oh, anyone know where the Spanish Department Noticeboard is? I've been looking for aaaages*:/

    *once or twice

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,338 ✭✭✭squishykins

It's probably down where all the other language noticeboards are?

If you come into the Arts block from the John Hume side, and go left, there's a corridor, they're all along there
