Anyone know if there's any type of public transport running from Maynooth to Clane regularly enough?

    J. J. Kavanaghs had a bus running throughout term, but if you're looking for a service running during the summer...I don't think you're in luck. I live in Naas, and the only way I can get to Maynooth is via that bus, getting driven up in a car, or hopping onto a bus into Dublin and getting the train out to Maynooth. It's beyond a joke, really.

During college there's the Kavanagh's bus, but other than that the only way is to get the 120 out to Celbridge and a dublin bus out to Maynooth, it's such a pain!

I've tried installing that 3 or 4 times this year alone. just given up. everytime I start up the computer again it disappears

It's because you're not an administrator on the system, that's why it doesn't stay on. These are the only ones in college (that I know of anyway) that have it installed. Rhetoric House ftw.

    Essays during study week? Sickener.

Almost as bad as having your final year project presentation and demonstration 3 days before your first exam. Bleh.

Spent the day in ARTs Block trying to get a MAC address from an Apple TV.

They could have made this easier.

ye its a second year bmus and third year arts class. so you'll have it next year.

we had 4 listening exams worth 10% of the module

    exam marked out of 72.

we just recently found out the 72, is actually the percent, i.e 72/72 is 7.2% of 10%.

    sounds crazy no?

So if you got 100% in all four you could still only get 7.2% at the highest?!

Someone in the music dept definitely doesn't know their maths...

Unfortunately its how the dept has always marked things , it is the same with your ensemble attendance say its worth 10% the max you can get even if you 100% attend every rehearsal and performance is 7/10%

We discovered it last year, its not nice at all but its not going to change

Its not how it was always marked, nor is it consistent in all the modules, as you can get more marks in some of the listening exams.

but the class was not told, and the worst part is that you could get more than 72/72 by writing "extra information" which of course not many people tried to do because the class wasnt told.
