Woah! Where can I buy some of this? ^^

Got an interview for MMT in Trinity next month, awkward since I already accepted Compo in NUIM.

All the info you need in there.

I've made a stout which is maturing (needs a good 2-3 months apparently) and also have a real ale that I added orange, honey and some extra hops to which I'm going to try tomorrow night hopefully. Such a nice feeling making your own big vat of beer. :D

My brother made some of this a while ago......REALLY nice stuff, very tasty ale.

My headphones broke today and I've just spent the last of my food money on a new pair in Tesco. Plain pasta it is for the next few days so.

Laptop is acting up again(No Screen Display), anybody know any places in Dublin or Maynooth that could take a look for relatively cheap?

Exact same thing happened to mine -_- yours doesn't happen to be a Dell does it? Believe it's quite common with them.

It's a HP compaq, last year something like this happened and I had to get the motherboard replaced,
really don't want to fork out for that now.
It's almost 4 years old at this stage.

TBH I'd be happy with just getting most of the files from it,
currently saving up for a new laptop/masters/audio interface at the moment...

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,584 ✭✭✭TouchingVirus

You can get all of the files off it, remove the hard drive and put it into a USB caddy. You can pick them up off ebay - turns your hard drive into an external USB hard drive ;)

Failing that, try hook it up to an external monitor via VGA cable, that might work.

I tried the latter and got no signal so I don't think it's the screen.
    Probably not booting properly.

The former would probably be the best option as I've read about multiple motheboard failures online
and it seems most people only get 3 years out of them due to overheating etc.

    Thanks for the help!

Just looking at the EP lineup again. There really are so many brilliant acts going to be at it this year <3

    Have you been before?

  • Registered Users Posts: 298 ✭✭BuroniKiisu

Nope; it'll be my first time at the Picnic. Heard nothing but good things though.

It really is brilliant! Make sure and go look around the other bits such as Body & Soul and the Comedy/Spoken Word tents too - that's one of the great things about EP; there's so much random stuff to do as well as see bands.
