    From the SU on BookFace:
The Union of Students in Ireland (USI) have in the last few moments begun an occupation of the Department of Jobs, Lower Hatch Street, just past Stephens Green. They are demanding Eamon Gilmore clarifies the Labour position on student fees and grants.

Anyone has got any more info?

True. You always feel so bad too. I'm gonna run the **** out of myself this evening.

The some of the English students in my year spend just all day studying, rarely go out and just eat--I couldn't live like that. What an awful, awful bloody existence. I mean some bragged about not being out for the entire study week. Forget that, I was out on my bike most days! What a week that was, so much adventuring! :)

No, well, to paraphrase them: "it was weird going outside, I hadn't seen outside my house for the entire week." Maybe I'm wrong, as it does sound a far stretch, but it was said seriously and without anyone laughing.

That Songsmith thing is freaking brilliant.

Last night I successfully cured my Procrastinitis by watching Ip Man 1 and 2, swiftly followed by HP7.2. Today will, as a result, be SO EASY! I will get LOADS done. Magnificent piles of something words will fall out of my brain onto the page and I will win.

Most popular application on the Mac? Microsoft Office.

Despite the hatred between the fanboys, Apple and Microsoft do produce products for the others platform.

Also there's an application on Mac called Bootcamp where you can run Windows
at native speed as a separate HD partition, very handy if you're on the move a
lot. You just need a Windows 7 install disk.

Acquire MacBook > Partition hard drive > dual boot OSX and Ubuntu > win.

Not that I hate Microsoft, just that I'm willing to pay for music equipment and applications - a MacBook with Ableton Live and Pure Data is perfect for what I do. And when I need word processing, spreadsheets, etc, FLOSS plz :p

Worst software ever released, assuming you're referring to Libre/OpenOffice.
