    Lovely and cool here in (the curiously named) Long Corridor.

    You know there's a thermostat in the library, right? I've often been soooo tempted to turn it full on a sunny day to teach the staff to remember to turn it down.

    Lab 4 is clearly the warmest place on campus. 100 odd computers and screens always on, 5 always on radiators, and a user for each computer.

    My pity is with the girl working on the O'Brien's stall in the library. I asked at the desk if they had a fan for her. 'No', said the lady, standing in front of an unused fan.

    Fair play for doing that though.

    Always feel bad for the lady working there, very little interaction at times and seems mind numbing, never mind the heat.

    I'm sure that there's no connection between all the work people have to do at the sunniest time of the academic year and this increased activity in the NUIM forum. Unless there's something I'm fundamentally misunderstanding about human nature... and I don't think I am.

    Yup, I'm surrounded by books and notes yet I'm typing on boards all day. If only it had an MS Word interface, then it might look like I'm doing actual work. Even my posts are becoming long and elaborate as I try to avoid discussing Latin American Cinema for a poxy 2500 word essay thats only worth 2.5 credits. Arggh.

    Library still a sweatbox today, not as bad as yesterday though. Callan Hall was ridiculous though, why dont/cant they open the many windows in there when it gets this warm?
