Don't just think about the name, what "extras" would a feminist bar would have.

Do you mean like combats and buzzcuts dress code and Sinead O'Connor and Mary Coughlan lookalikes fighting it out on karioke night:D

Don't just think about the name, what "extras" would a feminist bar would have.

A sidebar selling shoes, a dartboard where they can place pictures of their male partners etc

Good stuff but real feminists don't have male partners.

Mad Men's Don Draper : What you call love was invented by guys like me, to sell nylons.

Now I know the misogynists on AH will come up with some awful non PC comments and you are showing yourself up. This is a serious thread.

Well, clearly nobody here took this advice!:pac:

Tip (since most posters don't seem to understand what feminism is): Feminism does not equal lesbianism!;)

Guy Richie married Madonna and the other guy who married Scary Spice have done financially very well.

There is a rumour that there is a thread on the Ladies Lounge where aspirational househusbands post their pics exactly for that reason to attract high earning feminists. How demeaning.:p

quite disturbing, and madonna and any of the spice girls arent exactley feminists, normally feminists oppose their 'sex symbol' behaviour

I suspect they do know this, but have chosen to ignore it :)

Im gona tell it like it is. The burds only ~without lezbionic tendancies~ would go down like a bag of anvils.Feminists would have fück all to do in a pub after the first few bïtchy sessions. Why? Because they want blokes to hear them rant and rave.If you really want to get one over, you have to think like a bloke.

Basically, rent an establishment for 1mth. Keep the doors firmly closed until the final night, but spend the previous weeks convincingly setting it up as a new strip club. PR big time, offering no cover charge and free beers for opening night. A female bouncer will personally escort the men two at a time, down a dark hallway with a croc and snake infested pit at the end.

what in the name of god is a feminist pub?

Have any of these feminists been in any regular pubs lately?

    Probably not!

Anyway a single sex establishment would fall foul of equality laws for starters.

    Well, my boyfriend for one.

And, no, feminism does not equal lesbianism. Here's another tip: why don't you try and find out what feminism actually is before making ridiculous assumptions such as the above?

Well, I hope so, but I think some people have a rather bizarre view of what feminism is. I know it's not really a serious thread though ( at least I hope not.) :p:)
