Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Battery,volume and connection logo gone??

    Hey can anyone help me out with this problem. You know the little volume icon thats beside the time in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. Well along with the volume icon the battery icon is gone aswell as the little internet connection thing to tell you if your connected or not. How do i get them back and what got rid of them in the first place?

    The only recent thing I know is that i downloaded spybot search and destroy if this got rid of them. Can anyone help?

    EDIT: Nevermind just solved the problem. For somereason they became unticked in the properties even though the last day they had become "greyed" out on me!

    It is repeatedly happening to me, are you using Vista? It has never happened while using XP and when I tried googling it always seemed to be Vista Machines.

    I find that they're greyed out in the properties at first but can be ticked again when the computer restarts.

    I did find a fix online which involved typing some commands into the console to restart something or other which "un-greys" them so you can tick them again but it is not a long term solution. I still dont know what causes it.

    BTW I have spybot installed aswel but dont know if it has only happened since I installed it.
