Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Folks,

There are about 3 users here in the office that keep having their accounts locked out at various times during the day. Ive tried resetting the passwords, logging them off the PC's while this is being done, yet it keeps happening.

Just wondering if anyone has come across this before?

Have a look at the security log on your domain controller(s). That should tell you what machine the lockouts came from and what time they were locked out at.

Are the PCs on a domain?

The group policy probably has a default account lockout policy which will lock out a user after 50 failed logon attempts within 10 minutes.

This could be caused by one or more apps / services on their PCs or old machines that were installed to run with those users credentials, which have since changed.

Might be worth looking through the services panel to see if anything logs on with the user account and a stored password.

Along with checking the security log on the domain controller as Stephen suggests, you might also want to lock at the applications log for auth errors.
