Any opinions on this scotch? Picked up a set with 333ml bottles of the regular, 12 yo and 18 yo yesterday. How does it compare to other brands?

Having spoken to a few Scottish people on the subject of whiskey - the general concensus from them was that they didn't like grouse - citing it was too like Irish -

Personally it's one of the few ( very few ) scottish whiskies I tolerate .. in that if no Irish was available I'd go for this ( and then mix it with diet coke )
