Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Are there any good websites giving advice to beginners on how to use a point & shoot effectively? Things like how to best frame shots, how to use different modes effectively for depth of focus, white balance, exposure, etc etc.

In my case, I have a Panasonic TZ5 and I am looking for advice on taking outdoor and landscape shots i.e. how to make them interesting and memorable, not just bland shots of a piece of a landscape.

Not specifically P&S but http://digital-photography-school.com/ has some useful themes which would give you some ideas to play with. Also i've found from time to time that youtube will have interesting tutorials on various photography themes - aperture, lighting, etc. Just do a search.
