Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

In town today but alot later and no where near Parnell Square so didn't really get any of the parade. Took a fair few people shots.

A fair few "characters" out today and I captured a few of them. The first couple of shots are up on flickr, trying to sift through the rest of them tonight.

Its not as bad as it looks, It was gaurds Vs Junkies in a game of Twister but the cops had enough when the mat went missing...

On a more serious note, from what i heard on the ground it started with a gang of "wah you lookin ahh?" types arguing with a group of black young people. Both were pretty large groups so inevitably, push came to shove and all hell broke loose, then this guy in my first photo started getting lippy from a distance, showed some soles and then ended up face first in the pavement, along with his 2 girlfriends.

I sometimes make custom white balance settings, using photos already in the camera that give strange glowing effects.

Was it a digital camera Anouilh ? & did you use RAW ? if so then make sure to move the slider to say 5600K during RAW processing. It looks a little off.

To me, your daffodil has a blue tint to it, rather than it being a bright yellow. So, my assumption was that your white balance was not set correctly, or as you posted, you set a custom white balance, which is not natural for the image.

In many cases, altering the white balance can either correct the photo (giving it correct tones) or you can use it to give different effects. If your intention was to make the image more blue, then it works, but if you wanted to give a natural look to the flowers, you have set the white balance incorrectly, giving it too much blue.
